Event Details

STARS Community Workshops are free and are designed to benefit individuals with disabilities and their families/caregivers by addressing issues that affect them.

STARS will provide water and snacks. Also, children and family members are welcome! We will have a fun activity for them to participate in while you are at the workshop. 

WHO: Rick Boynton, STARS' Community-based Program Manager; Tina Everhart, a STARS job coach; Employment Specialist from the Division of Developmental Disabilities; manager of Fry's food stores, a company that actively employs individuals with developmental disabilities

WHAT: Join us for a discussion on how individuals can prepare for, acquire and maintain employment. Speakers will cover the necessary skills, attitudes, tasks and planning that it takes to accomplish career goals.

WHEN: Wednesday, May 23 at 5:30 p.m.
